what painting by Caravaggio has a cup and saucer in it asked by Anonymous

Well, that’s a very original question. I must say I didn’t know such a thing by heart, but I looked it up in my catalogue of Caravaggio and I would say the painting ‘Supper at Emmaus’ , 1602 hanging in the National Gallery of London is the one you are looking for. I say this because there are two known versions of it. There is another one painted 4 years later that is located in Milan. There is no cup and saucer spotted in that paiting.

I Will put ‘Supper at Emmaus’, 1602 in next post :)

PS: If you could tell me if there is another painting of him, with a depicted cup and saucer, you can tell me.

Greetings, Kenneth
